Aphasia Challenge Event and Fundraiser!
The Aphasia Center of California celebrated its 25th Anniversary in September 2021! Our $50,000 fundraising goal was met and then some–friends of the ACC raised $75,000 to support and expand Aphasia Center program services!

On September 25, 2021 we celebrated the ACC’s 25th Anniversary with a virtual celebration! This action packed event included an ACC Trivia Challenge game between ACC speech-language pathologists Giti Cira and Lyssa Rome; ACC participant, Trish, singing a beautiful rendition of “This Little Light of Mine;” ACC speech-language pathologist, Madison Fox, describing the ACC Music Club groups; a conversation between Dr. Audrey Holland and ACC President & Founder Dr. Roberta Elman about aphasia groups and life participation; ACC participant interviews; a demonstration of a mocktail for a celebratory toast; and much more!
